👋 Welcome to Airthings for Business
We created this guide to help you get started with the Airthings for Business solution. This guide assumes that you've purchased Airthings for Business devices and are ready to measure the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in your building.
Step 1: Get access to the Airthings for Business Dashboard
Access to the Airthings for Business Dashboard is by email invitation only. You cannot create an account yourself. After purchasing Airthings devices, you will receive an invitation email from the vendor.
Once you accept the invitation, you can log in at https://dashboard.airthings.com/.

Step 2: Invite other users to your account
Once you have access, you can also invite other users to the dashboard. You can either invite them now, so they can help set up the account and install the devices, but you can also invite users once installation is completed.
Step 3: Create your building and spaces
To set up your installation, you'll first need to create its structure in the Dashboard.
Start by creating a Building that represents the physical location where you will install and monitor your Airthings devices. Next, create the Spaces within that Building. A Space represents a physical room, and you should create one Space for every room where you plan to install a sensor device or Hub.
The goal is for the Dashboard to reflect your real-life setup as closely as possible, creating a digital overview of all rooms and installed devices.
The setup process is completed in this order:
Create your Building
Create the Spaces within the Building
Add devices to the correct Spaces

Step 4: Download the Airthings for Business app
The Airthings for Business app is the fastest and easiest way to install your devices on-site.
Scan the QR code below to download the app.
After downloading the app, you can log in, using the same credentials as for the Business Dashboard.
Step 5: Install the devices
1. Hubs
Always start with installing the Hubs first
Add the Hubs to the designated spaces in the Business app
Mount and power the Hubs
Note about Hubs and devices: You do not need to link devices to the Hub in the dashboard. Devices connect to the Hub automatically over wireless. Your only task in the dashboard is to add each device and Hub to a Space.
2. Sensor devices
Add the sensor devices to the designated spaces in the Business app

Step 6: Activate your subscription (required to see data)
Important: Without an active subscription, your devices will not report data to the Dashboard. Set up your subscription here. If you purchased through a partner, they handle this for you — no action needed.
Step 7: Add your Spaces to the floor plan
Now that your devices are installed, you can use a floor plan to map out your Spaces. This gives you a clear visual overview of your device fleet and makes it easier to identify where each device is installed.
If you haven't set up a floor plan yet, you can also do this at any time.
Step 8: Look at the IAQ in your building
When you have gathered enough data, it is time to explore the Business Dashboard and look at the Indoor Air Quality in your building. Read the articles below, where we'll guide you through this process:
