Intro
This article provides a quick guide on how to register devices using the Airthings for Business app. For a more detailed walkthrough, including device installation, refer to our comprehensive installation guide.
Prerequisites
Before registering devices in the Business app, ensure you have created a building and, ideally, Spaces within it. If you haven't set up Spaces yet, don't worry—you can add them during the device registration process.
Download the app
To get started, download the Airthings for Business app by scanning the QR code below.
Once downloaded, log in using the same credentials you use for the Business Dashboard.
Adding Devices
Adding a device to an empty Space
In the app, tap on your building's name to access the building's screen.
You will see a list of current Spaces. For any empty Space, you'll find an option to add a device.
Tap the option, then scan the QR code of the device you wish to add.
Adding a device to a Space that already has devices
Each Space can hold up to three devices. To add a device to a Space that already has one or two devices:
Navigate to the building and select the Space where you'd like to add another device.
Swipe left past the existing device(s) until you reach an empty screen.
Tap Add another device and follow the steps to scan and register the new device.
Add a device and create the Space for it
If you haven't created a Space for the device, you can do it all in one step:
Go to the building page and tap the + icon at the bottom right.
The app will prompt you to create a new Space before proceeding.
Complete the required fields, then tap Next to scan the QR code and register the device.
