Why this page exists
Starting September 2026, we're making a series of improvements to how the Business Dashboard is laid out and how you navigate it. Nothing about your data, your devices, or the features available to you is changing. Only where things live and how you get to them is changing.
This page is a running log of those changes. We'll add a new entry here each time something moves, with a before and after so you can see exactly what changed and where to find it. Bookmark this page if your team relies on the dashboard day to day.
Change log
Account Menu moved
What changed: The account menu item is moved from a sidebar item to a settings gear icon next to your name.
New user menu on your name
What changed: This is the next step after Account Menu moved above. Clicking your name and role in the bottom left corner used to open Account settings directly. It now opens a small menu so you can reach account options from any page. Click your name again to close the menu.
What's in the menu:
Account settings: Opens your account settings page, the same page you reached before by clicking your name.
Switch account: Only shown if you have access to more than one account. Opens a window that lists every account you have access to and your role in each. A green check mark shows the account you're in now. To switch, click the arrow next to another account. Click Cancel to close the window without switching.
Help and support: Opens the Airthings for Business Help Center.
Log out: Logs you out of the dashboard.
Good to know:
Your settings and access haven't changed. Only the way you get to them has.
If you don't see Switch account in the menu, you only have access to one account.
Thresholds moved
What changed: Thresholds is moved out of the Account menu and into the Status section.
Status removed from the Building level
What changed: The status overview is no longer in the Building menu. The Buildings menu now focuses on indoor air quality data and the insights that come with it:
Where to find Status of each building now: Building status is still available from the Status menu in the sidebar, where you get the same overview per building:
Breadcrumbs introduced
Breadcrumb trail now appears at the top of the page, showing your current location in the hierarchy. You can click any level in the trail to jump straight back to it, instead of using the sidebar or the back button to retrace your steps.
