Airthings for Business devices are designed for AA 1.5V lithium batteries, which provide optimal performance and long battery life. Space Pro, Space CO₂ and Space Radon use 6 batteries each. Space Plus, Space CO₂ Mini and Space Nano use 2 batteries each.
Pre-installed Batteries
Devices are shipped with pre-installed 1.5V lithium batteries, except in the following locations:
Australia
Japan
Devices shipped to these 2 countries do not include any batteries.
Battery Replacement Guideline
Replace with AA 1.5V lithium batteries to match the product's specifications.
Avoid using higher-voltage batteries, as these can overheat and damage the device, which will be considered misuse and void the warranty.
Using alkaline batteries is possible but not recommended, as they result in shorter battery life compared to lithium batteries.
USB plug for Space Pro, Space CO2 and Space Radon
The Space Pro, Space CO₂ and Space Radon devices can also be powered via USB using a 5V USB-C power adapter.
USB Power Guideline
Use only 5V USB-C adapters to ensure compatibility and avoid damage.
Adapters with higher voltage are not supported, as they can harm the device, voiding the warranty.
