Business Devices: Space Hub Power Adapter

Power adapter specifications for the Airthings Space Hub, including how to source a compatible replacement.

Power Adapter Specifications

The Airthings Space Hub is powered via a dedicated DC power adapter (not batteries). If you need to replace a lost or damaged adapter, use one that matches the following specifications:

  • Output: 5V DC, 2.0–2.1A

  • Input: 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz

  • Connector: 5.5mm (outer) x 2.1mm (inner) barrel plug, center positive

Why the Voltage Matters

Always use a 5V DC adapter. Using an adapter with a higher voltage can damage the Hub and will be considered misuse, which voids the warranty. Make sure the connector polarity is center positive — reversed polarity can also damage the device.

Sourcing a Replacement Locally

If you need to buy a replacement adapter locally rather than through Airthings, any adapter that matches all three specifications above — Output (5V DC, 2.0–2.1A), Input (100–240V AC, 50/60Hz), and Connector (5.5mm x 2.1mm, center-positive barrel plug) — will work with your Space Hub, regardless of brand.

By using a correctly specified power adapter, you help ensure the long-term reliability of your Space Hub.
