Business App: enrollment errors

A quick guide to navigating enrollment errors on the business app.

Error message

Device registered to a different user, contact support if this is incorrect

The device may already be enrolled to the account. Check your list of devices to confirm whether or not this is true. If it is not part of the account, contact support.

Communication error

Communication errors in the Airthings for Business app could point to a bluetooth or firmware issue. In some limited cases a device may ship with an older firmware version that prevent enrollment using the app.

Bluetooth

  1. Verify that your host device and app are up to date.

  2. Check that Bluetooth is active.

  3. Confirm the battery tabs have been removed and the device is powered on my waving in front it, or pressing the Airthings logo if it is a Space CO2 Mini.

Firmware

  1. Confirm the battery tabs have been removed and the device is powered on my waving in front it, or pressing the Airthings logo if it is a Space CO2 Mini.

  2. Try enrolling the device on the Airthings for Business dashboard.

  3. If it enrolls successfully, allow up to 8 hours for the hub to push a firmware update.

Invalid credentials

Verify that the device serial number and ID have been entered correctly. IF the issue persists, contact support.
