Learn how to start a new subscription, and how to update an existing one.

Introduction

Airthings for Business now provides you with the tools you need to manage your subscriptions:

  • View and manage your subscriptions

  • Start a new subscription or add extra seats to an existing one with just a few clicks

  • Update your purchase order (PO) reference at any time

Please note: hardware orders must still be placed with your local Airthings for Business sales manager.

Managing your subscriptions

To get started, navigate to Account and Subscription in your Dashboard.

If you don't have any subscriptions yet, you’ll see:

  1. Your payment details

  2. Your deployed devices

  3. An option to create a new subscription

If you have existing subscriptions, you’ll see:

  1. Your payment details

  2. Your deployed devices

  3. An option to add seats to your subscription or create a new one

  4. A list of your current subscriptions

Adding Seats vs. Creating a New Subscription

Add Seats

This option lets you add more seats to an existing subscription. The additional seats will be prorated based on the remaining term of your subscription, and your invoicing dates will remain unchanged.

This option sets up a new subscription with its own separate billing cycle and invoice.

To create a new subscription:

  • Click on Create Subscription

  1. Choose a start date for your subscription:

    • Set the start date in the past if your devices are already installed.

    • Choose a future date for upcoming installations.

  2. Add your purchase order (PO) reference, which will appear on the invoice.

Adding seats

  1. On the left, you have the option of adding seats. The number of seats should correspond with your deployed devices.

  2. Choose the Service period:

    1 year

    3 years (10% discount)

    5 years (15% discount)

  3. The estimated cost for the subscription will be displayed.

In the example above I have deployed 3 devices: 1 Space Pro, 1 Space Plus, and 1 Space CO2 Mini. When adding seats, I simply match the number of deployed devices. If I know I will deploy more devices, I can buy more seats now or I can also add seats later.

Review purchase

  1. Bill subscription in a separate invoice: If you have multiple subscriptions, you can choose to receive a separate invoice for your subscription.

  2. Click Review purchase

Review and confirm your purchase

Here you:

  1. Review the purchase

  2. Agree with the purchase and accept the terms and conditions

  3. Confirm the purchase

Congratulations! You have now placed your subscription order!


Adding seats

Click +add seats

To add seats to an existing subscription, click on +add seats

If you have multiple subscriptions you need to select the subscription where you want to add seats:

Select the amount of seats you want to add:

In this example, I already had 2 seats for Space Pro. I have added 4 extra seats, so I have 6 seats for Space Pro. I have also added 3 seats for the Space CO2 Mini. So in total, I go from 2 seats to 9 seats.

When you have added the correct amount of seats, click on Review Purchase

Review and confirm

Here you:

  1. Review the purchase of the extra seats

  2. Agree to add seats and accept the terms and conditions

  3. Confirm the purchase of the extra seats

Congratulations! You have now purchased extra seats!


Changing PO references

Update PO reference

You can update a PO reference at any time by

  1. Clicking the dropdown next to the subscription you wish to update.

  2. Selecting Update PO reference.​

Update and confirm

Enter your new PO reference then click Update

Once updated, the new PO reference will appear on your next renewal invoice. If you've already received an invoice and need a revision, please contact business-support@airthings.com or use the chat button.

Congratulations! You have updated your PO reference!
