Symptoms
Sensor tiles show a dash.
On Space Pro, the CO2, VOC, PM2.5, PM10, and Pressure readings are missing. On Space CO2, the CO2 reading is missing.
The status page shows the "Dislodged battery" warning label.
Cause
One of the device's two battery banks has become disconnected. This is most common on older units that don't have the battery-support fins.
How to Fix
Remove the backplate, reseat all six batteries firmly in both banks, then put the backplate back on. The device will work properly again.
Notes
While this issue is occurring, the device keeps working, but battery life drops by roughly 50%. Address it promptly to avoid draining the batteries faster than necessary.
Note that the Dislodged Battery status takes up to 4 hours to update, so it will not disappear immediately after reseating the batteries.
