Step 1: Detach the device from the backplate
Use a small pen or thin object to pop the device out from the backplate. The backplate will remain on the wall. Only the main device body will come off.
Step 2: Replace the batteries
Remove the old batteries and insert the new ones. Make sure they are inserted in the correct orientation (+ and -).
Step 3: Reattach the device
Place the device back onto the backplate until it clicks into place.
